Our WorkNative Americans in Utah have a long tradition of working with different levels of government in addition to politicians, elected leaders, and community leaders. We seek to build on that history and strengthen Native American voices in democracy.

2022 Elections

The midterm elections of 2022 will have major impacts on the lives of Native American individuals, families, communities, and tribal governments. The Utah League will be advocating for Native voices by finding out the policy positions, personal values and ethics, approach to working with Native peoples, and priorities for Indian Country in Utah from individual candidates. Additionally, we will support efforts to inform candidates about what our communities care about.
To that end, we ask for your help. Submit any questions you may have that we could prepare for a short survey that candidates will have the chance respond to. The results will be disseminated before the political party conventions. |
